I wrote yesterday about History.  One of the things that inspired me was the Underwood № 3 typewriter, which I just bought a month or so ago at a flea market.  It’s been refurbished.  It was made around 1925.

It produces a really peculiar steampunk line of print, that is unmistakable.  Even the faux typefaces on computers don’t quite resemble it.  It amazes me that this strange text, which used to be commonplace all over when I was in high school, is now so alternate and different.  That’s history.
